Job Description

AMAG, an Allied Universal Company, is hiring a Senior Product Development Lifecycle Program Manager. As a key member of the AMAG Product Team, the Senior Product Development Lifecycle Program Manager will be responsible for driving development and supporting the launch of products across the AMAG Symmetry Product Portfolio. The Senior Product Development Lifecycle Program Manager will work closely with cross-functional team leads that include various product development areas across the organization including engineering, operations, sales, marketing, training and quality. This role will drive programs at both tactical and strategic levels and have a blend of product expertise and business acumen, resulting in products that provide industry-leading solutions to our customers and outstanding business results for the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Develop, drive, and enforce produce development phase gate process collaborating cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Product Management, Quality, Compliance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Operations, Marketing, Sales, Training, and more to successfully bring products to market
  • Consistently center the team on what is most important and why; mitigate dysfunction and waste by continually refining program operations to ensure efficient and effective execution (e.g., process, tools, communications)
  • Ensure Commercial release plan execution with Sales, Marketing, Sales Operations, Training, and more for successful launch of products to the marketplace
  • Manage external resources required in the NPI process, including but not limited OEM product partners and suppliers
  • Facilitate regular senior leadership stage gate review process across NPI projects to create transparency, alignment, and buy-in
  • Actively identify program risks and issues and work to mitigate; ensure cross-functional alignment on risks and issues with program implications understood, clear ownership, effective prioritization and that actions efficiently drive resolution.
  • Drive Change Tracking procedures, aligning resources across the organization to the impact of the change
  • Work with Engineering leads for hardware development and prototyping that align with software development schedule(s) to ensure a smooth transition into system integration
  • Continuously improve the product lifecycle through retrospectives and best practices

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration
  • Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in leading product development or sourcing projects (e.g. supplier qualification/onboarding, product test and validation, production ramp and integration)
  • Working knowledge of Jira, workflow management, and risks/issues management
  • Skilled in Critical Path Timeline development
  • Ability to facilitate a workstream through a cross-functional team and drive accountability
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong skills in the Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong project management skills, including risk assessment and schedule management

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

  • Master's degree in Engineering or Business Administration
