Top Skills' Details * Splunk engineering and architecture experience (optimizing the platform architecture, best practices, etc.) * Project management as it relates to the oversight and coordination between teams * Very strong communication skills (need to be good with distributed work, remote communication, and working autonomously) Description: * Our client is looking to bring on a net new role to their service management team. * This position consists of analyzing, designing and developing system infrastructure for new or existing systems. * Work is performed in a manner that is consistent with standards and procedures required by the department. Work is performed with limited supervision. * The associate is responsible for making independent decisions on matters significant to the company. * This person will help to blend the server and security teams in a thoughtful way to more efficiently utilize the Splunk tool within their environment. Individuals must have extensive experience with Splunk in order to support and define a roadmap to have better coordination between teams, as well as overall tool usage. * Must understand Splunk holistically and how to optimize the platform architecture, define best practices, as well as oversee all efforts as it relates to the SIEM.
