Responsibilities

Full Time Sign-On Bonus up to $10,000

Under the supervision of the Clinical Services Director, the Acute Therapist provides individual, family, and group therapy to meet caseload requirements for patients. Responsible for developing and writing admission assessments, treatment plans, and discharge summaries within established time frames and formats. Is a liaison with families, outside agencies, and referral sources. Responsible for assessment, design, structure, and implementation of therapy services to best meet the needs of patients and families.

Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital provides inpatient and residential treatment services for ages 5-17. Our treatment programs provide a structured and supportive treatment environment that promotes self-acceptance and helps stabilize patients suffering from acute psychiatric illness. Our multidisciplinary treatment teams consist of psychiatrists, licensed therapists and highly specialized nurses who collaborate to develop and implement effective and compassionate treatment plans for our patients. Cedar Ridge is a behavioral health facility that encompasses a 116-bed acute psychiatric hospital and residential treatment center on a beautifully wooded campus with a stocked pond, school, outdoor courtyard and playground. Qualifications

  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a mental health field required
  • Current certification or licensure by the State of Oklahoma (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT), or under supervision for license, required
  • Prior experience working with a psychiatric mental health population, preferably in an in-patient setting
  • Two (2) years post graduate work experience in mental health or related field preferred
  • Two (2) years direct practice experience and/or clinical (graduate, continuing ed., etc.) training specific to individual, family and group therapy (if specialized issues group, training must be specific to issue), preferred

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Successfully complete a drug test
  • Successfully pass a national background check
  • Strong Computer skills
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Strong Leadership skills
