Staffmark is partnering with a global leader in the aerospace industry, and we're looking for a Senior Manager for Continuous Improvement to join their team in Corona, CA. Salary: $130,000 - $160,000 per year

In this role, you will lead the planning and execution of Lean and Six Sigma projects to help achieve key business objectives. You will be instrumental in fostering a culture of operational excellence by guiding continuous improvement efforts and providing hands-on training in Lean manufacturing.

Responsibilities:



  • Oversee and manage the site's Continuous Improvement System (COS) to align with business goals.
  • Conduct assessments of the facility to identify areas for improvement, develop solutions, and execute action plans.
  • Regularly communicate progress to senior leadership and facility associates.
  • Train and implement problem-solving methodologies and critical thinking techniques across all functions.
  • Facilitate Kaizen events across various locations, including the Corona site.
  • Mentor CI Managers and support continuous improvement initiatives at other sites.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Requirements:



  • Proven experience in developing and implementing problem-solving processes.
  • Extensive experience coaching and leading problem-solving teams and projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing and strategy development.
  • Experience with mix-model cells and high-mix, low-volume manufacturing.
  • Ability to analyze data and create actionable improvement plans.
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Teaching and coaching mindset.
  • Advanced project management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, etc.) or equivalent experience (5+ years).
  • 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification preferred.
  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.
