As a Continuous Improvement Data Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our Head of Manufacturing by delivering insightful analysis that boosts operational efficiency and propels strategic initiatives forward. This dynamic position involves partnering with diverse teams to uncover opportunities for improvement, streamline processes, and ensure we meet our ambitious organizational objectives. WHAT YOU'LL DO

Data Analysis:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret manufacturing data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards with data analytics team

  • Create reports that highlight key performance metrics, potential challenges, and progress toward goals, enabling informed discussions during leadership meetings.

  • Gather and analyze relevant data to provide insights that inform strategic project decisions.

Project Support:

  • Support Chief Manufacturing Officer and the manufacturing leadership team in managing strategic projects and initiatives.

  • Develop detailed project plans outlining timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.

  • Coordinate meetings and communication among stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity on project goals.

  • Track project progress, deliverables, and timelines, providing regular updates to stakeholders.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Prepare regular status updates and comprehensive reports for the CMO and direct reports, summarizing achievements, challenges, and next steps.

  • Document processes, procedures, and best practices for future reference.

  • Create communication materials and presentation decks to drive awareness of identified opportunities.

WHAT WE'RE SEEKING
  • Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university in Accounting/Finance, Data Analytics or related field and 2+ years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience, required.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.

  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.

  • Moderate to advanced MS Excel skill set with the ability to identify, combine, and analyze multiple data sets and data points using filters, sorts, and conditional formatting. Familiarity with basic formulas such as VLOOKUP, SUMIF and nesting statements as well as being competent in generating and modifying pivot tables and charts.

OTHER SKILLS THAT MAKE YOU STAND OUT
  • Experience working in manufacturing operations, food/meat manufacturing a plus!

  • Strong oral and written communication skills for drafting reports, business correspondence, and procedures in English.

  • Effective presentation skills and ability to responds to questions from a diverse audience.

  • Detail oriented.

  • Self-motivated, result-oriented, focused on meeting deadlines.

  • Math skills to calculate efficiencies, percentage reductions, and air emissions on a rolling 12-month basis.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms.

  • Ability to travel as needed.

  • When visiting our manufacturing facilities, the plant environment will include wet or humid conditions (non-weather related), extreme cold and heat (non-weather related), working near moving mechanical parts, exposure to fumes or airborne particles, and chemicals.

  • Noise level in the manufacturing environment requires hearing protection.

  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

  • Ability to deliver information to diverse audiences.

  • Fundamental mathematical skills for managing Key Performance Indicators.

  • Embody respect, approachability, and a team-oriented demeanor for fostering robust working relationships and cultivating a positive work environment.

  • Thrive in collaborating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
