Overview of the Position:

The Process Improvement Leader is responsible for analyzing, maintaining, and improving operational performance within the Wencor Warehouse, Quality and Office operations through training, development execution, process improvement. In addition, they will be tasked with using their experience and skills in operations and ERP to implement projects that yield improved efficiency, better utilization, capacity management, and improved safety and quality results.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Create and develop a roadmap for process improvement initiatives and projects, ensuring successful implementation and support training around the M3 ERP system and other operating systems within the scope of Wencor operations.
  • Utilize analytical / statistical tools & methods combined with the ability to select and apply them to make data-based decisions. Statistical tools include A3, 8D, Problem Definition, Data Collection, Brainstorming, 5 Whys, Fishbone, Cause & Effect, Error Proofing, Variation Analysis.
  • Assist with employee training; planning, developing, and implementing continuous improvement activities and standardized methods.
  • Effectively communicate to leadership, team members, and employees affected by the projects/change management around process improvement projects.
  • Observe value stream waste, coach and drive process improvement and methodologies for waste removal.
  • Develop standard work to document common process improvement activities like 5S and, Kanban.
  • Coach and deploy process improvement in the operations environment to operators and leadership.
  • Develop and utilize a hand on approach to implement effective process improvement training plans that develop and sustain a strong improvement culture, ensuring a constant safety focus.



Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:



  • Must be organized, detail oriented, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lead and continuous improvement projects.
  • Understanding of Lean practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of Infor M3 ERP system.
  • Knowledge of Infor Pyovi system.

Education / Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering or Related Field.

Mathematical ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
