Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Application Owner to oversee the implementation, integration, and management of a Land Management SaaS solution. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the solution aligns with business objectives, drives efficiency, and meets the operational needs of our land management operations. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of SaaS applications, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and vendors. Essential Responsibilities *Solution Implementation and Integration: oLead the end-to-end implementation of the Land Management SaaS solution, ensuring successful deployment and integration with existing systems. oCoordinate with internal IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to define requirements, configure the solution, and perform data migration. oEnsure seamless integration of the SaaS solution with other enterprise systems, such as GIS, ERP, and CRM platforms. *Application Management and Optimization: oServe as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for the SaaS application. oMonitor application performance, usage, and functionality to ensure it meets business requirements and delivers value. oIdentify opportunities for optimization and enhancements, working with vendors and internal teams to implement improvements. *Stakeholder Collaboration and Support: oBuild and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, understanding their needs and ensuring the application supports their objectives. oProvide training and support to end-users, ensuring they are proficient in using the application and understand its features and benefits. oFacilitate regular meetings with stakeholders to gather feedback, address issues, and ensure alignment on goals and priorities. *Vendor Management: oManage the relationships ensuring they deliver on their commitments and provide high-quality support. oCoordinate with the vendor for application updates, enhancements, and issue resolution. oNegotiate contracts and manage vendor performance, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs). *Compliance and Risk Management: oEnsure the application complies with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards. oImplement and maintain security controls to protect data integrity and confidentiality. oDevelop and enforce policies and procedures for application usage, data management, and access control. *Continuous Improvement: oStay updated on the latest features, updates, and best practices for the SaaS application. oIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of land management operations. oLead initiatives to adopt new technologies and methodologies that drive innovation within the land management function. Education: Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Administration, Land Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience. A Master's degree is preferred. Relevant certifications in project management or application management (e.g., PMP, ITIL) are preferred. Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in application management, project management, or a related field, with a focus on SaaS solutions. Proven track record of successfully managing and optimizing enterprise SaaS applications in a large or complex organization, preferably in land management or the energy sector. Technical Expertise: oStrong understanding of SaaS application architecture, configuration, and integration. oExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a strategic mindset. oStrong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. oExperience with vendor management, contract negotiation, and performance management. oProficiency in project management tools and methodologies *Skills:* Agile, Product management, Jira *Additional Skills & Qualifications:* This will be 5x per week on-site.
