What you will need: *License:N/A *Education:High School diploma or equivalent *Certification:N/A *Experience:One year experience in a comparable healthcare setting preferred *Skills:Ability to solve technical and interdepartmental problems related to the various Laboratory areas. Ability to identify problems that may adversely affect test performance or reporting of results. Good communication and organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize workloads.Moderate computer and excellent customer service skills. What you will do: *Perform a variety of routine and special Lab procedures as authorized by the Manager/Director *Rotate through a minimum of three Lab testing areas, performing laboratory analysis and procedures efficiently, accurately and within allocated time constraints *Collect and label multiple sample types *Perform chemical analysis on specimens *Centrifuge and aliquot specimens *Take volumes on timed samples *Order and record test results in lab computer system *Perform, monitor, and document quality control for all testing *Perform and document routine instrument maintenance and calibrations; troubleshoot instrument problems *Processsamples referenced to outside labs Benefits:
