Posting Summary |
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking multiple part-time course instructors and course developers for the Center for Executive Leadership in Government. Programs are designed for training managers in non-profit, government, and public service organizations. The training provided includes professional certification and/or professional development for managers.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
- Collaborates with content experts and instructors preparing materials to be used in the creation of an online version.
- Provides pedagogical support for new instructors building modules including public sector specific examples for cases and course framing content.
- Develops and shares standard frameworks to be used in Canvas such as discussions, collaborations, and cases.
- Handles non-credit course content development, course administration and content delivery, material development, revisions, updates, online materials and audio/visual/presentations for the programs such as Mini Master in Public Administration, Public Leadership, Strategic Communications, and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience |
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Two (2) years of experience working in or with non-profit Federal, County, or Local government organizations.

Preferred Qualifications |
- Instructional experience or successful completion of Train-the-Trainer program.
- Government, nonprofit or professional teaching or course development experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities |
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
