HOURS: The primary responsibility of the Distribution Administrative Manager is to manage and coordinate their assigned office functions in support of the DC operations. This includes order control, inventory control, ISO certification as well as ensuring company production objectives are met at the lowest cost while maintaining positive customer relations through quality and service. This position also manages staffing, safety, training and development, and budgeting for the assigned areas. Identify staffing needs to support the assigned areas within the distribution (office & administration). Provide leadership and management oversight to the office / administrative team members. Oversee daily order allocation process (allocate, print, grouping) that drives the Distribution operation. Work with supervisors and hourly employees to develop work instructions that establish best practices to achieve quality goals and objectives - specifically overseeing the ISO certification process. Work with supervisors to hire, train and cross-train hourly employees to meet efficiency, productivity and utilization objectives of the assigned area. Subject Matter Expert in our Distribution system (RDS) and MS Dynamics. Manage and use of MS Dynamics for the ordering of consumables in the DC. Manages the process of finished product receipt confirmation that triggers product vendor invoice payment; support problem resolution in this process. Prepares inventory monthly reports, research variances and implement corrective actions; including the cycle count reports. Inventory accuracy - confirm inventory information matches the physical inventory quantities of the warehouse by recording and reporting data metrics. Including the movement and transactions for the culls. Oversees the research of 888 inventory reports. Work with the quality teams to review inventory in QC Hold - support problem resolution. Responsible for the full scope of safety and ISO for One West. Other duties as assigned College degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain or similar. Equivalent years of experience in a substantially similar industry may be considered in lieu of a degree to be determined by the nature of the specific job and the hiring manager's criteria. 5+ years of distribution administration experience. 3+ years of managerial experience in distribution. ISO certification experience Excellent organizational skills. Excellent communication skills. Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, WMS). Knowledge of basic accounting terms. Budgeting experience. Must understand work flow and incentive pay practices. Knowledge of environmental, safety, and employee relation laws. Limited travel required (5 - 20%). |
