Pay Rate: *** ST Bill Rate: *** OT Bill Rate: *** DT Bill Rate: *** Start date: ASAP Shift hours: The shift hours are 7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday with overtime available as needed. Job Title: US-Roanoke-Shipping I What You'll Do Manually lifting products onto pallets and shelves. Communicating with coworkers. Following safety protocols. Inspecting products for damage. Using box cutters and RF scanners. Monitoring equipment. Understanding and meeting production quotas. In this Function You Will * Lift products manually to place them on to pallet * Communicate with coworkers to share expertise * Follow safety procedures for equipment to reduce potential for accidents * Examine products to ensure damaged products are not shipped * Lift products to place them on to shelves * Use box cutters to cut packaging materials * Monitor equipment to ensure proper functioning * Lift products to place them into boxes * Communicate with supervisors to resolve conflicts * Understand quota requirements to accomplish expected production level * Use RF (Radio Frequency) units to scan barcodes Required Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent * Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. * Remain standing for an extended period of time up to 8 hours * Able to perform constant movement of the arms Preferred Skills * English Language - Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. * Production and Processing - Knowledge of techniques for maximizing the effective distribution of goods. * Customer and Personal Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
