The Client is a professional medical organization committed to the healing mission of Medicine. The Client specializes in providing comprehensive cardiology care and currently has over 35 locations throughout the Philadelphia area. They have an exciting leadership opportunity available for Nuclear Technologists: Chief Technologist of Nuclear Operations. This management position will focus on the oversight of nuclear clinical operations across the practice. This position will require traveling.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages daily nuclear operations throughout the practice
  • Develops and maintains the monthly nuclear schedule and makes certain that there is proper staffing
  • Ensures that necessary quality control functions are performed as required in every office
  • Responsible for submitting and maintaining ACR certification.
  • Works with our operations team on installation of new equipment and ensures new sites, rooms, and equipment are ready for clinical use.
  • Works as a scanning technologist a minimum of 1 day per week or more to cover departmental needs
  • Assist in the interview process of all new technologist
  • Conducting the initial onboarding/training and retraining of any new and/or existing technologist
  • Providing input regarding clinical evaluations of any employee action plans
  • Collaborates on and initiates new policies and procedures.
  • Attends monthly operations meetings as needed.
  • All other duties as required and assigned


Requirements:

  • Associate's degree and Certificate from College or Technical School in Radiology/Nuclear Medicine Program or equivalent experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist with minimum of 5 years experience in clinical setting
  • CPR Certification
  • Technologist providing PET services

    • ARRT(N) or NMTCB
    • Scanning experience in PET


  • Organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs
  • Traveling to all 12 offices( 1 hour max travel time)
  • 50 % Home Base 50 % Travel
  • COVID and Flu Vac (medical and or religious exemptions )
