IFS Developer

Under general direction, this position will focus on the development, implementation, and support of our IFS ERP platform for Ferrellgas. The incumbent is also responsible for designing, coding, testing, debugging, and creating technical documentation for the work that they are developing. You will work with the business teams to ensure that IFS development meets business requirements.

Design and develop custom extensions, processes, and custom reports into IFS Cloud to meet the needs of Ferrellgas.
• Maintains and supports existing systems.
• Leads requirements gathering and design meetings, implementation and review meetings, and other project team meetings.
• Acts as a functional expert of IFS Cloud for team members.
• Monitors, identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves application issues; recommends and implements preventative measures to avoid future problems.
• Ensures the development produced by the team is efficient, robust, configurable, and flexible for future company growth.
• Ensures adherence to project schedule, providing timely responses and resolution.
• Collaborates with security to ensure a compliant environment.
• Ensures development is tested thoroughly before submission to Quality Assurance.
• Maintains a strong focus on business priorities and customer service by being responsive to business requests and developing / maintaining productive working relationships with employees throughout the organization.
• Contributes ideas and opinions to the engagement and practice teams and proactively listens to and seeks out team members' ideas and views.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or other IT-related degree
• 5+ years of experience in IFS Cloud development
• 5+ years of experience designing processes, solutions, and enhancements
• 2+ years' experience leading projects with multiple developers in an Agile environment
• Proficiency with IFS Cloud, Marble, Java, and PLSQL
• Proficiency in API integration tools (specifically Boomi) preferred
• IFS Report Designer, Business Reporter, Quick Reports, and Lobbies development experience preferred
• ERP end-to-end functional knowledge and experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of relational database design principles
• Basic knowledge of project planning and project management
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage conflicting demands and problems
• Great written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of Windows Server operating systems.
• Ability to provide analysis on complex problems and present findings in a cohesive and easy to understand manner.
• Ability to communicate problems and solutions effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
