Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager of Financial Communications to join our team. This role will be responsible for developing and executing strategic financial communications that help instill confidence in Allstate's strategy with investors, analysts, and the broader business community. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of relevant experience in corporate communications, investor relations, or financial public relations, with a strong understanding of financial markets, financial communications writing, content development, media relations and strategy. Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Communications Planning:
    Develop and implement a financial communications strategy that guides the corporate narrative and stakeholder engagement over the course of each quarter, including thought leadership opportunities such as investor conferences, speaking engagements and other events.
  • Investor and Analyst Communications:
    Create and manage communications materials, including online and digital presence, earnings releases, scripts, investor presentations, messaging and Q&A to support quarterly earnings and other investor-focused events. Incorporate advanced technology into communications processes for improved speed, efficiency and quality.
  • Media Relations:
    Proactively manage relationships with financial media, developing strategies to enhance the company's reputation and instill confidence in Allstate's strategy.
  • Crisis Communications:
    Lead financial communications crisis and issues management, including developing preparedness plans and timely responses to mitigate risk and maintain stakeholder confidence.
  • Internal Collaboration:
    Work closely with Investor Relations, Communications, Legal, and Finance teams to align messaging and ensure consistency across all financial communications.
  • Research, Measurement and Analysis:
    Partner with Allstate's measurement and insights team to evaluate the effectiveness of financial communications programs, using insights to optimize strategies and tactics.
Experience
  • 8+ years of experience in financial communications, corporate communications, investor relations, or financial public relations.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, corporate finance, and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear and compelling messages.
  • Proven experience in media relations, with established relationships in financial media preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Crisis communications and planning experience.

Skills

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $112,000.00 - 196,750.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
