Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing Specialist with a focus on Demand Generation & Campaign Management to join Shure's Global Marketing team within the Professional Audio segment. This role is perfect for individuals who have a solid foundation in marketing and strong writing skills. You will collaborate with senior marketers to develop engaging copy, assist in executing multi-channel campaigns, and analyze their effectiveness. Your efforts will directly contribute to enhancing Shure's brand awareness and driving demand generation across various paid & organic marketing programs. The ideal candidate is highly organized, excellent writer, and excels at collaborating with multiple campaign owners and stakeholders. You will work closely with global and regional marketing, sales, and product management teams to ensure our marketing initiatives are cohesive, aligned, and impactful. This role will be based out of our Niles, IL HQ.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with senior team members to develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, focusing on creating high-quality, engaging written copy.
- Write, proofread, and edit marketing materials, including digital ads, email campaigns, blogs, and social media posts, ensuring consistency in messaging and tone.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations for optimization. Track key metrics like lead generation, engagement rates, conversion rates, and ROI.
- Implement SEO and SEM strategies to drive organic and paid traffic to our digital assets.
- Works with internal cross-functional teams such as Web, social media, Video, Public Relations, Artist Relations, and others as needed to ensure coordination of efforts for assigned marketing initiatives and maximize campaign effectiveness.
- Utilize marketing tools (e.g., Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, Sitecore) to build and manage email campaigns, landing pages, and workflows.
- Support communications projects in the areas of content creation, advertising, press relations, digital marketing, and event marketing. Develop creative briefs for specific projects and interact with our internal creative teams and external agency vendors.
- Ensure all communication materials adhere to Shure's Brand Guidelines.
- Assist in various internal organizational initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required in Marketing or related field preferred.
- A strong foundation in marketing principles with 0-2 years of experience, including marketing and high-impact marketing communications.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail, grammar, and tone.
- Project management experience with the demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and tasks at the same time.
- Familiarity with SEO practices and tools to optimize content and improve search engine rankings.
- Proven ability to develop, execute and optimize multi-channel demand generation campaigns.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to participate in constructive discussion among a wide range of cross-functional partners.
- Strong visual sense with the ability to evaluate photography graphic layouts for both style and impact.
- Proficiency with computers and ability to efficiently work in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong verbal communication.
- Ability to travel internationally.
- Ability to work in a highly matrixed organization.
- Experience working virtually with remote teams.
