Leidos Defense Systems is seeking a talented Field Service Representative to join a diverse, highly skilled team to sustain our unique solutions to complex problems involving radar systems. We have offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, we provide responsive, cost-effective intelligence, engineering, scientific and IT solutions The Field Service Representative will perform maintenance/repairs/installations/training on radar systems deployed in the Hawaii region. While performing these duties the FSR is frequently required to bend, crawl, sit, climb ladders, and work in secured areas and on military bases around globe. The FSR may also lift and move materials up to 60 pounds and more than 60 pounds using appropriate lifting equipment. Primary Responsibilities The FSR will operate, perform regular maintenance, and conduct training on radar systems in the Hawaii. The FSR must be willing to relocate to the region and travel often between sites or events with little notice. Basic Qualifications -Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and a minimum of 4 years recent relevant experience or High School diploma and minimum of 12 years recent relevant experience. -Must be willing to be relocated to or be primarily located in Hawaii -Must be comfortable and skilled with maintenance, repair and troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and computer systems; including but not limited to:
  • Conduct fault isolation/troubleshooting of electro-mechanical systems
  • Perform hardware and software operational checks
  • Software and firmware updates, verification checks, and logging
  • Conduct training on system as requested by the customer
  • Manage shipping and handling of unserviceable parts and equipment back to United States of America (USA) for repair
  • Maintain the network infrastructure (components owned by Government Program Office used to make the connection to the user's network)
  • Maintain the software configuration baseline
  • Audit information assurance of the information systems
  • Train and support USMC personnel in emplacement, setup, and teardown of sensor system as requested
  • Provide basic maintenance of the onboard generator and Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems
  • Provide oil and water required to run the onboard generator
  • Ensure fuel is provided by the local base as required to run the onboard generator
  • Travel in support of and establish network set-up for test events and exercises
-Good communication skills and ability to integrate into a team atmosphere with local military and Leidos Defense Systems management -Able to work independently without clear direction, knows when to ask for help, and can process directions clearly -Willing to travel up to 75% of the time on short notice as well as relocate to Hawaii -Must have an active passport and Driver's ID - Must be a US citizen and a resident of Hawaii, or be willing to relocate to the Hawaii area. Must possess (and be able to maintain) a final Secret Clearance. Preferred Qualifications -Experience using LINUX based operating systems, including any Linux certifications -Experience with HVAC systems and generators-Experience teaching, training, and troubleshooting with military on equipment -Prior military service, including any OCONUS duties -US Passport, Driver's ID -Current Home of Residence in Hawaii a PLUS Original Posting Date:2024-11-20

Pay Range:Pay Range $68,900.00 - $124,550.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
