Material Handler

Reporting directly to the shift manager, as a Material Handler you will maintains raw material for thermoforming process. The primary material handler function is to ensure all raw materials, cartons and pallets are staged in the production staging area. The secondary function of the material handler is to ensure customer shipments are processed in a timely manner.

What you will be doing:

• Run TEQ Plant schedule for shipping dock.
• Stages raw material, cartons and pallets in production staging area.
• Comprehend pick tickets to identify customers shipping specifications.
• Ensure finished goods are properly wrapped and palletized.
• Ensures the timely and accurate staging of finished goods.
• Accurate scanning (scan 2 times) of finished goods and raw material to final destination.
• Moves pallets, picks and pulls stock for shipping.
• Complete receiving process according to Receiving procedures.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Assists other departments as needed and performs other work duties or functions as assigned.
• Maintain warehouse to a high level of organization.

• Can carry /lift to 50 pounds.
• Can push/pull up to 100 lbs.
• Have good written and verbal communication skills.
• Have basic math and computer skills.
• You have good problem-solving skills.
• Are meticulous with attention to detail.
• Have good organization skills.
• Can use pallet jacks. Warehouse or forklift experience preferred.
• Can be exposed to heat, noise, vibration, dust, cold, chemicals.
