LSSI is hiring afull-timeClinical Supervisor, Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm. Responsible for the overall function and compliance of the assigned program, direct supervision of clinical and support staff, and clinical treatment of individuals experiencing SUDs and substance-related issues.

Essential Functions:
  • Maintenance of daily program structure, workflow, and staffing pattern; including daily payroll approval.
  • Monitor and complete required reporting forms relevant to program compliance, revenue/deficits, and staff; including weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, performance, staff attendance, and staff evaluations.
  • Monitor program and counselor/case manager maintenance of ECR for adherence to LSSI and other governing body standards; develop and implement plans to improve compliance when needed.
  • Provide and supervise a continuum of counseling services to individuals with alcohol/drug related conditions and/or problems using a variety of therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices.
  • Coordinate and facilitate group and individual counseling sessions (ASAM Levels 0.5, I, 2.1, continuing care, DUI), and psychoeducation. Responsible for an assigned caseload and the associated documentation, including treatment planning, continuing care, case management and discharge plans; monitors progress and participant's response to treatment.
  • Complete evaluations and have the flexibility to assist with intake assessments when needed.
  • Responsible for hiring, orienting, training, and developing assigned staff.
  • Complete all clinical records and documentation accurately, in a timely manner, and in compliance with state, federal, and agency standards; provide appropriate documentation of all pertinent information obtained in interviews, consultation with other healthcare professionals, referrals, contacts and supportive services provided to each patient. Monitor for supervised staff.
  • Serve as liaison to Healthy Start Recovery Home-East regarding services for mutual clients.
  • Facilitate and document weekly clinical staffing and other staff meetings. Provide supervision to direct reports as needed.
  • Work with Admissions Director, Central Intake, and marking team to develop and maintain linkage and referral agreements with appropriate stakeholders to increase referrals and community engagement. Develop and maintain positive relationships within community.
  • Responsible for covering any clinical service when needed.
  • Point person on billing, insurance, and other contractual agreements.
  • Performs other related tasks as needed or assigned by supervisor.
Position Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related fieldstrongly preferred.
  • Professional certification or licensure (LSW, LPC, LCSW, LCPC, or CADC)required.
  • Supervisor/leader type experiencepreferred.
  • Must haveexperience working in substance use treatment field (minimum 1 year).
  • Excellent communication, organization, presentation and pc/computer skills (including proficiency with Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) along with other related software.
  • Experience using telehealth platforms.
  • Knowledge and experience using and implementing the use of DSM-5 and ASAM criteria to make accurate diagnoses of substance use disorders and treatment recommendations.
  • Ability to adhere to professional standards of ethics.
  • Annual TB testrequired.
  • Background checkrequired.
  • Access to transportation to travel between program sites preferred.
  • Maintain professional certification or licensure and pursue internal and/or external training and development opportunities.
  • Valid driver's license, in good standing for the state of residency preferred.
  • Access to reliable transportation required.
  • Valid IL statutory minimum liability insurance coverage, bodily injury and property damage preferred.
