Staffmark Drivers has openings in the Birmingham, AL area

Work Description:

• Sunday-Friday (shift will start late Sunday or early Monday)
• Pay is miles/stops/delays and per diem of $30/day
• Automatic and manual transmission
• Driver will return Thursday night or maybe some Fridays
• Driver is out 2 to 3 nights a week, 8-12 stops per week
• Driver will be hauling steel structures and plate material, will be responsible for strapping the load
• Driver may also complete backhauls
• Driver must be safety minded and perform required DOT pre and post trips on equipment daily
• Must be a team-player, and have a "can do" attitude and assist customer whenever needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 22+ years of age or older
• Valid Class A license
• Valid Medical Certificate
• Must have a minimum of 1 year experience operating class A tractor-trailers
• No DUI's/DWI's or Reckless Driving in the past 5 years
• No License suspensions, revocation, or cancellation of driving privilege as result of a moving violation within the past 5 years
• Driver must have a good PSP score & safety record
