Software Implementation Specialist

If you have worked with business software system planning and installation, we are looking for you! Software Implementation Specialist opportunity currently open with our Stevens Point client! Will be responsible for managing the implementation of HR/finance related business software components and support once installation has been completed.

DUTIES INCLUDE

  • Working with appropriate parties to ensure correct business requirements are being met by software component

  • Documenting the determined processes and decisions

  • Maintain consistent communication with affected parties, including regular meetings

  • Coordinating activities of software implementation to ensure timelines are met

  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices

  • Working to prepare and support affected parties in order to successfully work with the changes to the business software

  • Sharing knowledgebase documents specific to the software components

  • Implementing new business software components, including appropriate configuration of the system

  • Troubleshooting issues

  • Confirming that the software set up meeting business requirements in a test environment prior to implementing live

  • Continually reviewing processes for improvement opportunities

  • Creating and updating process & policy documents necessary for each department

  • Coordinating policy review groups as needed or as required, both internal and third party

  • Utilizing guidelines for policy document preparation and presenting to groups as needed

  • Coordinating training of software to end users prior to live launch

  • Creating instructions and FAQs for new software components

  • Attending meetings and consulting with others on appropriate maters

  • Maintaining client confidentiality

  • Gathering and analyzing a variety of data and make recommendations when appropriate

  • Coordinating multiple projects simultaneously

Will work full time, daytime hours Monday-Friday. This position has temp to hire or direct hire potential. Pay depends on experience, but will range between $65,000/year - $80,000/year. Our client offers a benefit package.

Requirements:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred

  • Two to four years' experience working with an ERP or Human Resources Information System (HRIS) preferred

  • Knowledge of government administration setting required

  • Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be considered

  • Knowledge of:

- Wage and salary administration practices and procedures

- Governmental organizations and applicable labor laws

- Federal, state and local reporting requirements
