The Research Assistant is a Full-Time Temporary position in the Corey lab to work with a faculty member, Staff Scientist and laboratory staff as part of a Master's level graduate program. The lab works on chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cells for an HIV cure. The research project involves CAR T cells target proteins that are markers of the the latent viral reservoir. The position will last from mid-February to mid-July 2025. Responsibilities The techniques used will range from cloning of CAR, lentiviral vector production, characterization of antigen binding of these novel receptor in reporter cell lines as well as killing assays in primary T cells. This will also include Sanger sequencing, flow cytometry and live cell imaging assays. Perform literature review. Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in a biological science and some research experience or laboratory knowledge.

The hourly pay range for this position is from $19.97 to $48.08 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
