Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and/or education, and location. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus.

Summary

Position is responsible for various functions related to the processing of ACH transactions, ACH renewals and risk management utilizing the Bank's systems including Navigator, Director, Fedline Advantage, Access Manager, ACH Manager, EDIPlus and the Data Warehouse.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Must be at work and on time each day they are scheduled to work.
  2. Complies with and stays abreast of all policies and procedures, federal and state laws applicable to the job.
  3. Maintain time sensitive workflow relating to ACH processing.
  4. Review ACH files originated and received to ensure all have been received and processed through applicable bank systems daily.
  5. Process transactions related to ACH functions including adjustments, returns, reversals, notification of change (NOC), alerts and renewals.
  6. Research and resolve ACH system alerts and exceptions on a daily basis.
  7. Research and resolve any "Unknown Companies" as applicable to ensure database is updated appropriately.
  8. Update and maintain accurate information in department databases.
  9. Provide support and address Customer and associate inquiries/issues related to ACH functions including adjustments, returns, reversals, notification of change (NOC), alerts and renewals.
  10. Work with customers to address NACHA rule violations in a timely and appropriate manner.
  11. Provide education to customers on NACHA rule requirements as needed.
  12. Provide documentation for certifications and reporting.
  13. Provide, present and promote The Citizens Experience to all external and internal customers.
  14. Other duties as assigned.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Grade level is determined based upon knowledge and prior ACH experience.

ACH Processor II - Grade 8

  • This is an intermediate position. The associate must have a strong working knowledge in most ACH Department processes. Will back up other positions and perform other duties as required.
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in ACH processing and/or other related areas of bank operations.
  • Intermediate and advanced ACH and ACH Fraud Prevention training is required.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Navigator, Director Database software; Microsoft Suite, Access is a plus, Access Manager, ACH Manager Fedline Advantage, EDI, Data Warehouse Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.

Level II - AAP Accreditation Recommended

Level III - AAP Accreditation Required

Salary Range:$20.00 To $22.12 Hourly
