Procurement Specialist (Indirect Sourcing)

This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Rate: $40 - $45 / hr. w2

Must be able to go on site 5 days a week and will be reduced to 4 days a week.

• Actively and consistently support all efforts in our Indirect Procurement Category, including Contract Labor and Software suppliers.
• Manage strategic sourcing activities with minimal guidance, including bid solicitation and supplier award recommendations.
• Consolidate and analyze monthly and quarterly reports.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define procurement project requirements.
• Assist in supplier negotiations using benchmarking and analysis.
• Research and develop supply sources; evaluate supplier financial stability.
• Conduct business analysis, including total cost of ownership.
• Provide recommendations based on benchmarking and analysis.
• Collect and analyze resource data to identify trends and forecast insights.
• Understand data within the Indirect Procurement Category.
• Seek and lead cost-saving opportunities.
• Manage supplier performance and rate card updates; assist with miscellaneous activities.

• 5+ years in a Procurement role
• 3+ years in Indirect Sourcing

• Bachelor's degree preferably in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or Finance or equivalent proven experience.
