Requisition ID req31619 Working Title Research Administrative Director Position Grade 15 Position Summary The University Of New Mexico College of Nursing's (CON) is seeking Research Administrative Director who is responsible for managing and coordinating research and grant administration efforts for the CON. The selected candidate will need to have a high degree of proficiency and professional experience in: * Research and sponsored projects administration * Pre- and Post-awards Project Management * Grant Management including budgeting * Financial management (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) * In depth knowledge of government regulations * Advanced technical leadership in research and literature searches * Grant and budget preparation and grant writing activities The individual will assist faculty and research staff in facilitating the development of competitive grant proposals and is responsible for managing department specific outcomes and outreach, assisting with outcome monitoring, reporting and measurement, as well as development and management of all information into required databases. The individual will ensure compliance with University, State and Federal laws, policies, and regulations. The individual will prepare progress and other required reports for the Associate Dean of Research and Scholarship. The successful applicant must have experience being independent and self-sufficient, with strong organizational skills and the ability to independently meet deadlines. The individual will oversee the supervision of personnel assigned, which includes work allocation, training, promotion and enforcement of internal procedures and controls. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
