Position Summary
The Institute on Human Development and Disability/ UCEDD seeks an Administrative Assistant to work with various projects within our Institute. Projects vary over time, but include the following tasks:

    • Administrative and general office support.
    • Data collection, creating and updating data spreadsheets.
    • Data management and programmatic support for the Disability Studies Certificate Program.
    • Instructional support in Disability Studies university courses.
    • Development and dissemination of community education materials, including print, social media, and video materials.
    • Organizing and archiving materials for the Georgia Disability History Archive.


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies

  • Ability to accurately computer-enter numerical data.
  • Proficient in use of Windows Office Suite; internet and library research skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to details.
  • Flexibility and ability to work on multiple tasks.
  • Comfort and facility with learning and using web-based platforms, databases, and systems.
  • Strong writing skills.
