What this job involves - We are seeking a highly experienced and passionate Life Sciences Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our consulting team. The ideal candidate will leverage their deep industry knowledge to lead projects and drive business growth in the Life Sciences sector.
What is the day to day? Provide oversight and oversee delivery of consulting projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction. Drive business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and working with regional business development representatives. Achieve sales target of $1M - $1.5M USD. Stay abreast of industry trends in the life sciences sector. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions for clients. Mentor junior team members and share industry knowledge. Desired experience and technical skills - Required Proven experience working for a life sciences organization or as a consultant to life sciences clients Deep understanding of the life sciences industry Excellent presentation and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage and influence executive-level audiences Proven track record in sales within the life sciences sector Strong project management skills and experience leading multi-disciplinary teams Bachelor's degree required Experience in a sales environment meeting KPI's 10+ years of relevant experience in life sciences consulting or industry roles Preferred Familiarity of lab design understanding GMP space and work flow planning Knowledge of manufacturing/supply chain process Understanding industrial equipment, like when calibrations are performed Advanced Degree or Certification in a relevant field (e.g., Life Sciences, Business Administration, or related) Key Competencies Industry passion: Demonstrates genuine enthusiasm for the life sciences sector and its evolving landscape Executive presence: Ability to command respect and build credibility with senior stakeholders Strategic thinking: Capacity to understand complex business challenges and develop innovative solutions Adaptability: Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment and adjust to changing client needs Leadership: Ability to guide teams, mentor colleagues, and drive projects to successful completion Business acumen: Strong understanding of business principles and their application in the life sciences industry |
