Opportunity at a Glance

This positionis responsible forreviewingand approving practicumapplications submitted by thepracticum coordination team and supporting the achievement of student practicum learning outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews and approves or disapproves practicum applications submitted by the experiential learning team.
  • Works closely with experience learning specialiststo ensure students are effectively completing their practicum responsibilities.
  • Provides support to students in the selection of their practicum location and completion of their practicum.
  • Supports the achievement of student practicum learning outcomes.
  • Participates in problem-solving for student practicum site issues.
  • Provides accurate student placement and other reports to stakeholders.
  • Ensures a quality student experience in interactions with practicum coordinators.
  • Evaluates practicum processes and implements appropriate process and quality improvements.
  • Maintains relationships with clinical agencies to ensure successful practicum experiences.
  • Identifies and assesses concerns related to practicum experiences and facilitates appropriate interventions.
  • Uses systems and technologies effectively to support processes and reporting.
  • Maintains complete knowledge and understanding of program and practicum requirements and clearly explains them to team members, students, clinical agencies, and other departments.
  • Researches escalated issues as they arise and works to provide timely resolution.
  • Completes other duties as assigned.
  • Complies with all policies and standards.
Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Nursing Required.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills are required.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage large quantities of documents and details.
  • Ability to learn and use multiple computer software systems.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.- Solid knowledge or experience working in healthcare education field is preferred.
  • Must be comfortable developing relationships via phone.
  • Attention to detail and mental concentration are necessary for accurately. performing tasks; ability to tolerate frequent interruptions.
  • Some travel required up to 15% of the time.
  • Active and unrestricted registered nursing license Required.
Additional Information

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $59923.09 and $108334.92. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
