Job Purpose

The role of the Senior Logistics Analyst position is to support the Operational Distribution Centers (DC) under the Auto Sales Division. Their main function is to work alongside the DC Assistant Manager when necessary while training under that person to become a viable candidate for placement within either the DC or Field Operations. As such, this associate is expected to make high level decisions when needed and demonstrate a high level of analytical skills to support the positions primary areas of responsibility.

Key Accountabilities

This position's primary areas of focus are:



  • Inventory Integrity - Managing the inbound/outbound shipping and receiving of all Ridgeline, Odyssey, Pilot and Passport built products at the Lincoln Auto plant.
  • Manage all Vehicle Quality Control activities between American Honda and the AAP Quality Group
  • Operational Data Analytics - Power Bi variance analysis
  • Project Support - New Value Chain & ETA
  • Manage Field Intern assigned to Alabama



Corporate Goal: Allow AHM to sustain growth and optimize logistics services to our dealers and internal customers.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

  • BA/BS or equivalent work experience
  • 5 years Auto Industry Distribution Experience
  • Vehicle Processing
  • Project experience
  • Inventory Management
  • Familiarity with TTX Equipment Forecasting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Must be capable of making sound business decisions.
  • Excellent communication Skills
  • Time Management
