Georgia-Pacific (GP) is offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr Director of Delivery - Data & Analytics who will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution and delivery of data, data products, and front-end Business Intelligence (BI) solutions. This role will lead a team of delivery leaders, engineers, BI developers, and analysts to ensure the seamless delivery data initiatives that drive value for GP.

What You Will Do
* Lead, mentor, and manage an organization of 6 delivery leaders and 100 engineers, data architects, BI developers, and analysts to deliver data and analytics solutions at scale. Your primary role as a supervisor is to utilize our management philosophy, [1] Principled Based Management, and apply the [2] 5 Dimensions to build a high performing organization.
* Develop and execute the overall data and analytics delivery strategy in alignment with organizational goals that drive value for our businesses
* Define and prioritize the delivery roadmap for data products and BI solutions in collaboration with key stakeholders
* Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the data and analytics function.
* Oversee multiple, concurrent data and BI projects ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery including establishing and managing timelines, resource allocation, and project risks for delivery across teams
* Ensure effective stakeholder communication and change management to meet business needs and expectations.
* Implement agile practices to enable flexible, iterative delivery and faster time to market
* Ensure data governance, security, and quality best practices are embedded in all delivery processes
* Collaborate with Data & Analytics and IT counterparts to ensure the operating model is well-defined and efficient
* Collaborate with product owners, data scientists, data governance teams, and business leaders to ensure alignment between data delivery and business objectives
* Partner with IT leadership to ensure data and analytics initiatives integrate seamlessly into broader IT infrastructure and align with enterprise architecture standards
* Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to advocate for data-driven decision-making across the organization
* Manage your teams financial plan, ensuring efficient use of resources to deliver business-critical data solutions applying our economic approach to resource planning and risk
* Work with external vendors and partners to augment internal teams as necessary

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

* Experience in data and analytics roles with a proven track record in delivering large-scale data products and BI solutions OR experience in leadership role managing large, multi-disciplinary technology teams (engineers, developers, etc.).
* Experience in overseeing data warehousing, data engineering, and BI development projects, from conception to delivery is preferred.
* Strong understanding of data architecture, data governance, and data management best practices is preferred.
* Experience working in Agile environments and delivering projects using Agile methodologies is preferred.
* Proven excellence in leadership, team management, and mentorship skills
* Strong project management abilities, with a demonstrated focus on delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

* Strong knowledge of agile methodologies and frameworks to effectively implement new capabilities.
* Advanced data analytics skills including statistical analysis, predictive, and machine learning.
