Part-Time Supervisor (QAS)

$25 per hour

AM Shift: 3:30am-07:30am Tuesday-Saturday

Position Overview:

The Supervisor is responsible for the safe and cost-effective use of the facility equipment and labor within control of this position. Ensure all staff are compliance with Inland's policy of superior service and satisfaction while maintaining compliance with all written company and Government rules and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):

* Promoting and adhering to our safety and respectful workplace culture and instilling this culture while

ensuring safety and regulatory compliance with all regulations;

* Ensure your station is focused on achieving optimal customer service, customer retention and customer relationships to maintain quality of service;

* Assist the Director and/or Regional Manager with station audits, provide information needed for reports, and handle all airline and FAA questions/concerns as required;

* Ensure the base is open for the contracted hours and make certain that the assigned staff reports on time;

* Promotion of employees to new duties and responsibilities;

* Responsible for recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, employee training and development for the station;

* Performing regular employee evaluations and assessments;

* Administering personnel documents, handling employee issue and submitting required documents to the

corporate office for maintenance of employment files;

* Audit and maintain that all station activities are conducted to guarantee the highest level of employee and equipment safety for protection of assets, sustaining regulatory compliance and support company mission, values and purpose;

* Lead team in meeting goals, identifying areas of strength, build and maintain work teams and

relationships, and follow through to be sure that deadlines are met, and success/failures;

Required Skills and Experience:

* High school diploma or equivalent required;

* Previous supervisory and/or management experience preferred;

*Previous cargo operational experience;

* Effective time management and organizational skills to manipulate multiple projects and conflicting deadlines at once;

* Verbal and written communication skills;

* The ability to listen to others and value opinions, interpret information, promote and execute ideas, prepare reports and presentations, lead groups and provide foundation of open communication are required;

* Intermediate computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel);

* Knowledge of converting kilos and pounds, tariff book usage and rate application;

* A valid driver's license is required for this position.

Work Environment:

* Office environment with the potential of remaining seated for extended periods of time;

* Continuous use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse;

* Warehouse - physically strenuous, prolonged periods of time standing with exposure to noise (may be excessive at times), safe but potentially unpleasant odors, varying temperatures and humidity, in and around heavy moving equipment;

* Outdoor - prolonged periods of time standing with exposure to prevalent weather, dust, dirt, fuel, fumes and noise, in or around heavy equipment and moving vehicles;

* May be exposed to hazards inherent in airport operations, including noise, vehicles, equipment, and weather, all of which are well-managed with a high level of training, personal protective equipment, and safety procedures.

Physical Demands:

* Must be able to squat, stoop, kneel, bend, stretch, crawl in awkward positions;

* Must be able to lift, push pull up to 55 pounds at times, but not in excess of 75 pounds;

* May be exposed to loud noises, harmful materials and dangerous equipment or machinery;

* Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
