SENIOR MANAGER, METROLOGY ENGINEERING SpaceX Metrology supports maintaining the calibration, verification, and certification of SpaceX's inspection, measurement, and test equipment. The Metrology Engineering Manager has a core responsibility for continuously developing and improving departmental processes ranging from calibrations to the overall quality assurance program. This role is responsible for identifying technical areas of improvement while mentoring a talented team of engineers and quality specialists to develop and implement creative solutions. In this role, you will be expected to have quality and efficiency as a key input for all actions and projects. You must be a critical thinker, demonstrate mental flexibility, and be a driver for positive change. This position will work with device owners and metrology personnel across all SpaceX sites to drive tactical and strategic initiatives. Our fundamental goal is to allow humanity to explore the stars; and with it comes extreme responsibility to ensure the well-being of the crew and payload.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: Pay range: Metrology Engineering/Sr. Manager: $175,000.00 - $230,000.00/per year Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience. Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. You may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of company stock, stock options, or long-term cash awards, as well as potential discretionary bonuses and the ability to purchase additional stock at a discount through an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
