Department:IA | AdministrationDepartment's Website: Summary of Job Duties:The Information Specialist sought by the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, AR (Pulaski County).Duties: Responsible for the overall health and integrity of data of Institutional Advancement's Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) system. Implement and administer enterprise-wide document management systems and related procedures that allow UAMS to capture, store, retrieve, share, and destroy electronic records and documents. Assist in the assessment, acquisition, or deployment of new electronic document management systems. Develop and implement data management policies and standards at a strategic and tactical level to facilitate efficient, legal, and secure access to electronic content. Propose recommendations for improving content management system capabilities. Maintain the many data interfaces/feeds with UAMS, such as the Epic EMR system, SAP/Workday, and Peoplesoft, as well as those of contracted third parties. Participate in the CRM replacement project that will eventually move UAMS onto the Salesforce platform. Configure document management system features, such as user interfaces, access profiles, and document workflow procedures. Innovate upon existing data management practices as the CRM database grows and inevitably become more complex. Perform data maintenance and individual projects to maximize the quality of all constituent data dimensions including accuracy, completeness, consistency, timeliness, validity, and uniqueness. Maintain records through automated and manual means. Create and update the records of contacts, accounts, transactions, and others. Implement scanning or other automated data entry procedures, using imaging devices and document imaging software. Maintain data feeds from multiple UAMS and third-party sources while always promoting high levels of data quality. Support all data integration points between Salesforce and UAMS. Provide data synchronization services for agency partners. Monitor regulatory activity to maintain compliance with records and document management laws. Qualifications: Requirements: Bachelor's, or equivalent, in Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field, plus one (1) year of Information Systems, Data Management, or related experience including six (6) months of experience: providing technical support to end-users; developing technical training and instructional documents; designing and configuring databases for Software-as-a-Service applications; creating and updating customer records; managing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems; performing data maintenance for data consistency and completeness; developing data visualization for periodic reports; utilizing Excel VBA and Azure Data Studio SQL.
