About the Job

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
The University of Minnesota Medical School (UMN) is conducting a search for an experienced physician/scientist leader to build a center for human precision neuroscience for the neurology Department at the University of Minnesota.

The incoming leader would develop a center integrating image acquisition, image processing, and neuromodulation clinical trials in adult and pediatric patients to precisely map the functional architecture of individual brains in the service of personalized neurotherapeutics.

Protected time for research is available based on interests and qualifications in a tenured position.

The ideal candidate for this leadership role is a physician/scientist with proven program-building expertise and current R01 funding or has shown the ability in the recent past to receive NIH funding.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
- Qualified candidates will be medical doctors (MD, DO, MD/PhD, or equivalent) with ABPN board certification in Neurology.
- Candidates must be eligible for medical licensure in the state of Minnesota and demonstrate the requisite clinical and research expertise in the field of neuroscience as required for the academic rank of Associate Professor or Full Professor, Department of Neurology, University of Minnesota Medical School.

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: $55,000 - $255,000; depending on education/qualifications/experience

Time Appointment: 75%-100% Appointment

Position Type: Faculty and P&A Staff
