The Nerancy Neuro Intensive Care Unit (NNICU) and Neuro Intermediate Care Unit (NIMU) are state-of-the-art facilities that provides cutting-edge care to patients with life-threatening neurological conditions. We serve a diverse patient population from across Virginia and beyond, including individuals with specialized needs from across the nation and abroad. About the Role: UVA Health is seeking a dynamic, dedicated, and experienced Nurse Manager to oversee the operations of our Nerancy Neuro ICU (NNICU) and Neuro Intermediate (NIMU) Units . This leadership role is integral to ensuring the highest standards of patient care and operational excellence in two of our most advanced and critical care units. The Nurse Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, staff management, quality improvement, and patient care coordination of the NNICU and NIMU units, which together provide 24 beds dedicated to patients with complex neurological and spinal injuries. You will lead a dedicated team of RNs, charge nurses, and other healthcare professionals in delivering world-class care to our diverse patient population. This is a full-time, leadership position with 24/7 operational responsibility for the NNICU and NIMU, ensuring these units meet the highest standards of care, patient safety, and nursing excellence. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS For Dialysis Nurse Manager: As required by job be a full-time employee of the facility; have at least 12 months of experience in clinical nursing, and an additional 6 months of experience in providing nursing care to patients on maintenance dialysis.
