Basic Concepts, Inc, is the world leader in portable spill containment systems. In Anderson, SC, we are seeking an RF Machine Operator. An RF Machine Operator is an individual with great hand dexterity, machine operator experience, and an eye for quality and attention to detail. Work with little supervision while following all health and safety standards is essential. The goal is to contribute to the construction of secondary spill containment berms.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities



  • To accurately read and understand written work order instructions and take accurate measurements to ensure quality.
  • Use hand tools required to perform the job. These include but not limited to; hammers, tape measures, utility knives, and scissors.
  • Work with materials such as vinyl, foam, aluminum and steel.
  • Measure, cut and seam vinyl panels.
  • Ability to move oversized pieces of materials onto and off of rolling carts (with assistance of others).
  • Using forms, place vinyl panels into molds for the RF Machine to mechanically seam the panel to the material using a specific pattern per the work order.
  • Ability to meet production requirements in a given time span.
  • Complete inspections and conduct rework if needed.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required



  • Have a great attitude and willing to grow with the company
  • Diligently follow safe work practices for yourself and team members at all times
  • Must be able to work in a flexible team environment with job rotation as needed
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of measurements using a tape measure.


Working Conditions



  • Able to lift and carry 50 lbs to waist and over head
  • Ability to bend, twist, stand and walk up to 9 hours per day.
  • Wear all required PPE including: knee pads, cut resistant gloves, hearing protection (as required) and safety glasses (as required)
  • Good physical condition and endurance.
  • Ability to work in high heat conditions.
