Position Title: Vice President, Program Strategy

Salary: $190,000 - 210,000 (commensurate with experience)

Job Summary

The Vice President of Program Strategy will represent the client in overseeing the strategic direction and programming of the North America food program for a very large Fortune five global client. In this role, you will be responsible for working with senior stakeholders to drive performance from partners, use data to support decisions and measure results, manage strategic projects, oversee financial performance, optimize costs, and enhance guest experience across the client portfolio. You will be expected to identify opportunities to improve outcomes across qualitative and quantitative metrics and track the effectiveness of different initiatives. To be successful in this role, you will need to take a proactive approach to delivering value to the client as a thought partner and expert communicator. You will manage a geographically distributed team to oversee hospitality delivery across over 100 locations totaling over $130M in annual spend. The position is accountable to the CEO of E15.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage $130M+ budget for food and beverage operations on multiple campuses across the US and Canada for multiple foodservice vendors
  • Manage a growing team (5+ full time associates) in the management of vendors and initiatives across the portfolio and by campus
  • Work collaboratively with primary client and regional stakeholders on various enterprise-wide or area initiatives and program implementations across a complex, matrixed organization with cross-functional project teams
  • Oversee and improve food program under the following areas:
    • Strategic Planning
    • Integrated Program Management
    • Guest Experience Management
    • Performance Management
    • Vendor Relationship Management
    • Operations Management
    • Technology Strategy & Implementation
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including client and operational executives, to foster effective cross-functional collaboration and alignment
  • Lead strategic initiatives by developing KPIs, benchmarking, and performance measurement practices to optimize operational processes, financial outcomes, and guest experience
  • Communicate project details proactively and clearly across all organizational levels, ensuring alignment and understanding among relevant departments
  • Analyze business data using statistical techniques to identify patterns and correlations, providing insights that drive decision-making and strategic adjustments
  • Create and standardize reporting formats, including dashboards and status updates, for client and sector use, ensuring clarity and consistency in communications
  • Identify, prioritize, and manage ad hoc projects that align with client objectives, coaching the team on forecasting impacts, investments, and outcomes
  • Provide leadership, support, and professional development opportunities to team members, setting high standards for behavior, analyses, and deliverables
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 7+ years of experience in consulting, operational, analytical and/or client-facing businesses
  • Proven success managing a portfolio of operations, including cafes, coffee shops, catering, vending, and office pantries
  • Great work ethic with a strong sense of urgency to support teammates and stakeholders
  • Able to pivot as needs and priorities change
  • Success in a matrixed organization
  • Managing and leading other professionals
  • Recruiting and hiring top talent
  • Degree in business strategy, hospitality, business analytics, finance, economics, or a related field * Ability to develop and own stakeholder relationships (at all levels) * Ability to work collaboratively in a consultative role * Persuasive and professional communication skills (presentations, documents, emails) * Comfortable and competent in front of executives

PREFERRED

  • Big 4 or advisory consulting experience
  • Food and/or Retail knowledge/experience a significant plus
  • Master's degree in business, hospitality, or similar
