At Kraton, we make a Positive Difference, and we are looking for individuals who are also looking to make a difference in their jobs, for our customers and to the world. We are looking to hire a key member of our Logistics team at our Jacksonville, FL corporate office.

The Logistics Analyst - Over the Road (OTR) is responsible for overseeing transportation operations and warehousing to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and safe delivery and storage of goods. This role involves collaborating with carriers, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders, optimizing logistics processes, and upholding high safety standards. The position also provides support for other logistics functions and initiatives as needed.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to the following:




  • Support and oversee the planning and execution of OTR shipments (FTL/LTL), manage company-owned equipment, and ensure maintenance and safety compliance.
  • Collaborate with carriers, third-party logistics providers, and brokers to resolve service issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Coordinate storage, handling, and distribution activities to optimize space utilization and minimize costs.
  • Plan, execute, and monitor transportation operations using the TMS and tracking tools ensuring data accuracy and system optimization.
  • Maintain adherence to DOT and safety protocols for hazardous materials handling.
  • Provide backup for other logistics functions), assist with onboarding and training.
  • Collaborate cross functionally to streamline processes and drive efficiency.
  • Lead and support initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Develop contingency plans to minimize logistics disruptions (e.g., weather, strikes, equipment failures).
  • Track performance metrics for transportation, warehousing, and equipment to meet or exceed expected KPIs and cost targets.

Required Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain, focusing on OTR operations and warehousing.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and risk assessment related to logistics and warehousing.
  • Works effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Capable of identifying bottlenecks and implementing effective solutions to enhance supply chain efficiency.
  • Strong problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Experience with SAP, Power BI, TMS, or similar supply chain tools.
  • Flexibility to manage dynamic supply chain environments and prioritize competing demands.

Education, Certifications & Licenses

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Preferred certifications: Certified Transportation Professional (CTP), Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Six Sigma Green Belt, DOT certification.
