Location Site: Salem Hospital Main CampusDepartment: SH Respiratory CarePosition Type: Unscheduled, per diem Your Role With Us: At Salem Health, our Respiratory Care Clinical Interns are essential contributors to the patient care team, gaining hands-on experience while supporting critical respiratory services for both inpatient and outpatient populations. Under supervision, interns perform therapeutic and diagnostic procedures aligned with department policies and standards, ensuring high-quality, efficient care. This role is designed for students currently enrolled in a COARC-accredited respiratory care program who are eager to apply their academic training in a real-world, fast-paced clinical environment. Interns are expected to maintain accurate and timely documentation, demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills, and work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team. With opportunities to engage in critical care and to grow through professional development and mentorship, this internship is an ideal launching point for those passionate about respiratory therapy.
